CEE 7/7 Schuko plug
Our protective contact plugs are manufactured in accordance with the applicable standards CEE 7/7, DIN 49441 R2, DIN VDE 0620-1, and IEC 60884-1. They are designed for voltages ranging from 220 to 250 volts (rated voltage: 230 volts) and are suitable for use in most parts of Europe.
The CEE 7/7 plug combines the Type E (French-Belgian standard) and Type F (protective contact/"Schuko") systems in a single design, allowing compatibility with both socket types. The integrated protective earth contact ensures the safe dissipation of fault currents and is connected to electrically conductive parts of the housing.
Our Class I protective contact plug versions feature:
- a PVC jacket,
- dual protective earth contacts (side and center),
- an integrated strain relief,
- and are rated for currents up to 16 A at 250 V.
