C13 connector with IEC Lock
Power cords with a locking function (IEC Lock) protect vibration-prone devices in sensitive environments, e.g. in data centers, from being shaken out or unintentionally pulled out. The earth contact is "blocked" by a spring mechanism. It is unlocked by pressing the red lever on the C13 connector. Other possible areas of application are medical technology, laboratories, offices (power supply for printers, computers, monitors, etc.). As with other cold appliance sockets, the maximum load capacity is 10 amps.
