Connectors and appliance inlets
Appliance inlets, which are standardized by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC 60320), are installed directly in the electrical appliance to connect it to the power supply.
For every appliance inlet (male connector) there is a matching connector (female connector). The IEC 60320 standard also applies to connectors. In this standard all defined appliance inlets are designated with a C and an even number and all connectors with a C and an odd number (e.g. C8/C7).
A power cord is required to connect the end device to the power supply. The power cord consists of the appropriate connector on the one side and a power plug (e.g. Euro plug) on the other side.
In addition to power cords, we also offer connection cables. These have an appliance inlet on one end and a connector on the other side (eg. C14/C13).
