These data protection regulations apply in addition to all terms and conditions of business and use of Hans Wagner GmbH (HAWA). They regulate the handling of data concerning the users of the website.

       2 .       What is personal data?

Personal data means information that can be assigned to your person. This includes, for example, your name, your address, your telephone number and your e-mail address.

       3.       What do we need your data for and how do we handle your data?

We know that careful handling of your personal data is very important to you. We therefore process and use your personal data strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act.

We only use your personal data to enable users to use the website that requires registration. Under no circumstances will we make personal data of the users known to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes or otherwise pass them on to third parties without this being necessary for the provision of our service. Exceptions may arise within the framework of legal provisions that require cooperation with the law enforcement authorities or other state institutions.

Your personal data and information that you make available to us is used by us to process orders, deliver goods and process payments. We also need your data to inform you about the status of your registration/order.

       5.       Does HAWA use cookies?

So-called session cookies are used on the HAWA website, which are assigned to users for the duration of their visit so that the system can recognize them. These cookies are used to make the system more user-friendly and expire automatically after the end of the session, unless the browser carries out local storage based on its individual settings that goes beyond this. A user-related evaluation of the surfing behavior of users using the session cookies does not take place.

Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognize your computer on your next visit (so-called permanent cookies). These cookies make it unnecessary for you to re-enter your e-mail address for subsequent orders.

For technical reasons, your Internet browser automatically transmits data to our web server when you access our website. These include:

This data is stored separately from other data that you enter when using our offer. It is not possible for us to assign this data to a specific person. This data is evaluated for statistical purposes and subsequently deleted.

       7.       Are minors allowed to register?

The registration is reserved for persons of legal age and authorized to represent the company specified in the registration.

       8.       Do we adapt the data protection provisions to current circumstances?

We reserve the right to change these data protection provisions at any time if changes become necessary due to subsequently identified regulatory gaps, with regard to functions provided by us or due to new legal provisions. HAWA will inform its registered users of any changes to these data protection provisions by email to the email address provided during registration.

       11.   What are your rights?

  • If you want to know what data we have stored about you, we will tell you, because you have a right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR). Exceptions to this right are governed by section 34 of the Federal Data Protection Act.
  • If you tell us that data is incorrect, we must correct this data. You have a right to rectification according to Article 16 of the GDPR.
  • You have a right to have your data deleted according to Article 17 of the GDPR (right to erasure). Exceptions to this right are governed by section 35 of the Federal Data Protection Act.
  • In rare cases (e.g. if it is not clear whether data is correct or incorrect or if we would like to delete your data but you do not want us to do so), you can request the restriction of the processing of your data. You have the right to restrict the processing of your data according to Article 18 of the GDPR.
  • You have the right to object according to Article 21 of the GDPR.
